 Social Research has its origins in the New School’s historic effort to provide intellectuals safe haven as the Nazis began to threaten Jewish scholars prior to the onset of WWII. This group of rescued scholars, known as the University in Exile, launched Social Research: An International Quarterly of the Political and Social Sciences in 1934 on the core conviction that every true university must have its own distinct public voice. |

The European Educational Research Journal has been created by the European Educational Research Association (EERA) to further the aims of the association and its members, educational researchers across Europe. EERA was founded to promote educational research in Europe, to foster cooperation between associations of educational research and to enable clear communications with and between policy makers and teachers. EERA intends its journal to build a transnational community of scholars in and through the idea of the 'European Educational Research Space. |

The journal encourages the assessment of practices in the accounting field through a variety of theoretical lenses, and seeks to further our knowledge of the accounting-management nexus in its broadest (e.g., organizational, social and political) contexts. QRAM welcomes submissions of original research papers, conceptual pieces, substantive review articles, and shorter papers such as comments or research notes. |
 The Journal of Applied Social Science publishes research articles, essays, research reports, teaching notes, and book reviews on a wide range of topics of interest to the social science practitioner. Specifically, we encourage submission of manuscripts that, in a concrete way, apply social science or critically reflect on the application of social science. |
 Most issues of Social Research address a single theme, which is addressed by scholars, writers, and experts from a wide range of disciplines. Some of these issues are the proceedings of our conference series; others are guest coedited by scholars who bring their unique expertise to bear on multifaceted explorations of the subjects of their interest. Some of our themes are explicitly drawn from the social sciences; others consider particular parts of the world. Still other issues address concepts, ideas, or phenomena that seem ripe for exploration. |
