CDC: Sexual Health
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention offers a comprehensive overview site for sexual health. From the site: "The World Health Organization defines sexual health as a state of physical, emotional, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality; it is not merely the absence of disease, dysfunction or infirmity. Sexual health requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences, free of coercion, discrimination and violence." (WHO working definition, 2002)

Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality is a non-profit professional membership organization. ... Membership of the Society includes anthropologists, biologists, educators, historians, nurses, physicians, psychologists, sociologists, theologians, therapists, and many other disciplines."

The Society for Sex Therapy and Research is composed of a broad range of professionals who have clinical or research interests in human sexual concerns.
