American Psychology Association (APA) is the largest association of psychologists worldwide. The APA seeks to advance psychology as a science, a profession, and as a means of promoting health, education, and human welfare.

Kenya Psychological Association also uses the acronym KPsyA, is a scientific and professional organization of psychologists in Kenya. Its growing membership includes all branches of psychology such as Counseling psychology, Clinical Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Education Psychology and Industrial Psychology. The aim of the Association is to advance psychology as a science and as a profession in Kenya.

Kenya Counselling and Psychological Association is a professional association for counselors and Psychologists in Kenya with a membership of about 4000 counsellors and psychologists spread across the entire nation of Kenya. It was formed in 1988 and registered officially in 1990 as the Kenya Counseling Association (KCA).
